A son and daughter of Timothy Batchelder b. 1744 Kingston, New Hampshire, have gravestones in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Lot 16, Prospect, Maine.

Mehitable Batchelder b. 1775 d. 1841 Prospect, Maine.

Elijah Batchelder b. 1768 d. 1841, his wife, Sarah\\ d. 1849. Elijah died “At Sea”.
============================================================

Mehitable married her first cousin, Jordan Parker Batchelder b. 1779, son of Theophilus Batchelder b. 1742 Kensington, NH. Jordan survived her until at least 1860 when he last showed up in the Prospect Census as a pauper living with their son, Isaiah W.* Batchelder. Isaiah and his family are also buried in Prospect, but in the Harding Cemetery, Bowden Point Road.

I have not located Jordan's or his second wife's gravesites.

Isaiah married Emeline R. Harding b. 1817 Prospect, Maine, a descendant of Pilgrim Thomas Rogers, and infamous Amaziah Harding.

*Tingley Family Revised by Marion Frye lists his middle name as Wyman.

Other Batchelders are said to be buried on the Harding property.
