Hi Jeff:

I am so happy that I have helped you extend and clarify some of your lines, as I am sure you can help me with the more current generations. Your ancestor can now be claimed directly to Rev. Stephen Batchelder who was quite a character and a figure of much biographical material. The other line you gain is Corey, another old NH-Vt. name.

If you want my information on a CD, I will gladly do it but many people have said they cannot open the files (which I never understood why, as Word97 is a pretty common program). I can also send them as email attachments. Any way you wish I will get you the information, which is all documented and fine-tooth combed for accuracy!

I am sure I put my snail mail address in my email to you, but if you lost it I will gladly resend as this is a great colloboration we have now.

I got much of my information from an 1877 Batchelder Genealogy, which is available at but I can send PDF's of your relevent line if you want!

I will also send by email the picture of Henry John Knepper today for your files.

I want to say hi to your family and I always enjoy helping people with their "problem pedigrees" as we all have them from time to time.
