I just went through Hubbard's book today gathering all of the Batchelder's listed in this book. They are not in the Index. Wanted to share this with the board as there are many spouses here too. Hubbard used the spelling BACHELDER.

Hampshire, N.H. in the 18th Century. (this is incorrect, Jethro was a descendant of Rev. Stephen Bachiler) Jethro Batchelder is the son of Jethro Batchelder who was the son of Nathaniel Batchelder who was the son of Nathaiel Batchelder who was the son of Nathaniel Batchelder who was the son of REV. STEPHEN BACHILER who emigrated to American in the 1630s and founded Hampton, New Hampshire)

DANIEL BACHELDER, B. Loudon, N.H., (incorrect, was born in Chester, New Hampshire) M. Judith Jedkins, (incorrect, last name is JUDKINS)
Who was born in Hopkinton, N.H. (incorrect – was born in Kingston, N.H.) They settled on No. 9, 12 Tange of Stanstead, in 1800. Judith, his wife, d. in 1796. He afterwards m. Zerviah Morill. She d. in 1853. He d. Feb 17, 1832. 12 children, Jonathan, Dorothy, Hannah, Anna, Judith, Polly, Jethro, Abigail, Samuel, Nathaniel, Silas and Daniel.

JETHRO BACHELDER, b. in Danville, Vt., Dec 20 1784 – m. Betsey Moore of Stanstead. She d. May 14, 1813. He afterwards m. Esther Smith. She d. June 23, 1844. Oct 17, 1848, he m. Charlotte Bachelder. She d. Aug. 1, 1849. In 1854, he m. Mary Sloane. The family were among the early settlers of Hatley; are connected with the Methodist Church. He d. in Aug., 1866.
