Basye-- Karenhappuck Northumberland/ Pittsylvania Counties, VA

I have been researching the Rigney's of Pittsylvania County, VA for the last 5 or 6 years. Almost from the start I came across the surname Karenhappuck connecting her to selling land to my ggg-grandfather John Rigney 1789--1864 and his sister Sarah Rigney both from Pittsylvania county, VA.
It is belived by some...including myself, she could be their mother.Since they sent money monthy for her care to a State Home for the aged, where she lived at the time of her death.
As you can see, no one seem to know her first name, or any thing about her parents or were she came from. We do know she was living in Pittsylvania County, VA ca 1780's.

Just this week I ran across the name Lylia Karenhappuck who was married to Edmond Basye Jr. The parents of Elizabeth Basye married to Richard Oldham that ran down through several surname and lineages in to my 2nd research that of my mother's Landrum from VA/SC/MS.

Has anyone information on the Karenhappuck that you will share with me. Can I help you with my date base information?

Thank you,
Lloyd Rigney
