Barry,

I am helping a friend do some research on the Bastian family. He is descended from a Henry Bastian from Mecklenberg, Germany. Henry Bastian married a Mrs. Harloff in Mecklengerg who had children by a previous marriage. Henry and Mrs. Harloff had one son Theodore who emmigrated to Farmington, New York. We don't know if Henry and his wife emmigrated or not. They are not buried in any of the local cemeteries. Theodore was born in Mecklenberg in 1856 so his father Henry was probably born around 1830.

Regards,
Bob Kelly and Glenn Bastian
