My mother, presently 90 years, is born 1912 her name (maiden name) is BASTIAN Lina.
All the BASTIAN from here are coming from the small village "REIMERSWILLER 50 KM from STRASBOURG (ALSACE)
What i know:
GENERATIONS 4/AND 5 BASTIAN:
BASTIAN hans-Jacob born 1763 d. 21.11.1852 second marriage with HEIDENSCHILD Madeleine b. 1786 d. 27.3.183?
11 children
for example: BASTIAN Christian B .1817 (sept) Marriage with RENCKERT Madeleine(Hohwiller) : They emigrated to Chicago area (Bensonville ?)
Christian had a brother Jean-georges BASTIAN b.1811 who married RENCKERT Elizaberth (Hohwiller)One of his descendant is here patrycook.
