Hi. I have been seeking the parents of
my ELIZABETH HANCOCK b.ca.1840-1850
who married JAMES BASFORD/BASSFORD. Another
researcher was most kind to give me the
following info. (Mine were in Prince
Geo,Chas.&St.Mary's MD)
This wonderful person gave me the following:
ELIZA D. HANCOCK, b.ca. 1847, d/o Wm.HANCOCK
and ELEANOR ANN DAVIS. She married JAMES F. BASFORD (BASSFORD) 11 Dec. 1871.
Their daughter ROSETTA (ROSA/ROSIE/ROSALIE)
later married CHARLES F.(FRED) BUCKLER
in St.Mary's Co MD and they were my great
grandparents. Bonnie McVoy Treon

PS- I am curious about the blind thing. I
found out before age 40 that I had high
intraocular pressure, a sign of early
glaucoma. Could be a family thing. I keep
it checked.
