Am trying to find descendants of my great grand parents, William Bassford and Clara Woodier. They used to live at 100 Cooper Street, Belgrave, Leicester.
They had 3 sons, William, Horace, and John, and 2 daughters, Lilian and Nell.
William Jnr was married to Phyllis. They had a daughter called Barbara. William Jnr use to work as a grave digger for Ginns and Gutteridge. He died around 1978/79? Barbara had a daughter called Elaine, who I believe had 2 sons.
Lilian married Anthony Cox, and they had 2 sons, Tony and Roger.
John, my grand father married Catherine and had 2 sons and 2 daughters.
Horace emigrated to NSW, Australia in the 1930's. He was married to Catherine. They had a son Robert, and I believe a daughter as well ? Horace died in 1946.
Nell died when she was 12 months old.
Clara died in 1973, at Hillcrest Hospital, Swain Street Leicester.
Would love to hear from anyone with any information.
