I have information about the Chester NH Basfords back to Jacob Basford who settled in Hampton, NH in 1687, probably from Wales (1st generation). In the 6th generation is George Walter Basford, b. Dec 20, 1848, d. April 12, 1920 who married Anna Elmira Stockwell (7/30/1865 - 8/12/1905). My information goes through the 7th generation.
