Bob, I do not know the new name but my old map shows it west of Galesville (located on West River) and south of Birdsville. In the area where Md. Rt 2 and Md 255 meet. You will see West River and I suspect this is about where Owensville was as the old map shows West River P.O. right beside Owensville. All of this is south of Annapolis in A.A.County.
