I am looking for information pertaining to James W. BASSETT. I don't know where he was born (or when), but he married Eunice Bolster in 1866 in Berrien Co. MI. He was listed in the 1860 census in Berrien Co. and in the 1870 census in Newaygo Co. MI. I know of one son-Perry Nelson Bassett b. 1880 probably in Newaygo Co.-although he later moved to Emmett Co. MI where he married Rose Etta Niswander (b. 1885). I believe his father was William Bassett, but I have no proof of this. Any additional info would be helpful (year of birth, siblings?).
