I, too, am a descendant of William Bassett, son of Roger Bassett and Ann Holland. I just found a lot of information from a pamphlet/book from Salem County, New Jersey, called "The Bassett Family, Lynn Mass. to Salem County, NJ 1624-1964." Maybe we could compare notes.
