Phyllis, would like to talk with you about your SC BAssetts. We have a William, d. 1810 Barnwell District. At his passing he left a widow, Michal Moye Bassett, and 3 sons; Thomas Jr., Francis and Stephan. He lists Eli as his brother and that Eli had a son William. Eli and his son left almost immediately after Williams passing in 1810 for GA where they can be traced. We are trying to figure out who William and Eli's father and mother were and if they are connected to the VA Bassetts who came down and settled in the Augusta GA area. Do you have any knowledge of this?
