I am the son of Vearl Carolyn Bassett of Shelton, WA. Mom attended many of Arthur's Bassett Family Reunions in Tacoma as she grew up. I met him once in Olympia at the State Legislature, where he was a member of the House of Rep. About 25-30 yrs ago, I tracked down Arthur's son in Lancaster, PA. He was a nuclear engineer approaching retirement age at GE. He said at that time that he still had 5 cases of Arthur's genealogy papers (much unpublished)in the basement. He had no interest in genealogy, but would probably give the "stuff" to his daughter, if she had an interest or donate it to the Barre, MA Historical Society. I was never able to find him or his daughter after that. :( My lineage for the Mayflower Society was in those boxes.
