As a descendent of this branch of the Bassett family, I appreciate the research and information which you are sharing. However, the tone of your response to a politely worded request for information seems to come perilously close to flaming. I don't believe that your questioner (whom I do not know) was expressing doubt about the veracity of your sources or research - he simply asked you and others to share those sources in order to clarify some confusion caused by identical names of persons living in the same area at the same time, a common genealogical problem.
Most of us who read and participate in these forums understand that not everyone is a trained genealogist, nor does everyone have access to all available records, but we are all interested in family history, and most of us are willing to share. "Family feuding" is not productive.
