Searching for descendants of Cornelius Bassett, b. 1754/1755 East Hampton, NY, s/o Joshua Bassett and Martha McCarroll. Cornelius m. Chloe Smith 1783 in Farmington, CT & moved around 1800 to Homer, NY where he d. 1805. Cornelius was a Rev. War veteran. I have information to share on son William and descendants.
