I have since found Martha Belle Bassett's husband's name, it was Henry Jones, son of Jacob Jones of Wysox, Bradford County, PA. He was not a cooper, but rather a blacksmith who worked for the railroad. He did kill himself on 21 Jan. 1880 leaving a widow (Martha Belle) a three year old daughter, Harriett, and a two-week old son, William Henry, my grandfather.

I am still looking for the parents (either Harriett Anna or Clarisse Bassett) of Martha Belle.

Thanks in advance,
Linda
