His principal legatee was "son a law" William BASSETT. Fleet in "Virginia Colonial Abstracts" took that to mean that BASSETT was a step-son. Will also mentions Thomas' sisters, Sarah, Susan and Catren. Can anyone identify this Thomas BASSETT and explain this relationship? Any help appreciated!
