Looking for any information or clues on the ancestry and family of Theodorus Bassett (b: ~1788, possibly near Cortland, NY) and wife Chloe (b: ~1780, CT). Son - Frederick b: 1811 in NY, daughter Nancy Maria b: 28 June 1824 in VT(?). Lived in Lyme or Monroeville, Huron Co., OHIO in the 1840-50's. Father or uncle of Theodorus may have been Isaac Bassett, b: 1760/70 per 1850 household census. Glad to share notes, descendancy information. (Brian Edgerton)
