There are not many Bassetts in Cincinnati, Ohio. I beleive in the phoen book there were ( I don't live there anymore ) no more than 14. They were mostly my families direct known descendants. Should any other Bassett be curious I am Kenneth Bassett, my father - Walter Bassett his father, and my Great grandfather Bassett ( who's first name I don't know by memory but I can find out. He arrived on a boat from New Orleans,LA after his parents died of ? typhoid fever ?? Origionally he was beleived to come from Pennsylvania. ( something like that I remeber from Hazel Bassett nee Pfieffer ).
