From my research, and the research of others that I ahve read, William Bassett (1595?-1676) was first married to Cecelia Light/Lecht, then betrothed to Margaret Oldham who died in the Netherlands before they were married, then he married Elizabeth ________ probably in the Netherland, and finally he married Mary Tilden Lapham about 1650. Elizabeth is the mother of all the children of William Bassett. More detail can be provided latter as I am writing this form my work without the detailed infromation with me.
