I am looking for any inf. on this Bassett family. Truman was my G,G,G, Grandfather he was married to Laura Brown, they has one son together Adelbert Oscar Bassett. Truman died 1853 May 13. He is buried in the Brown Cem. Chubb Hollow Rd. Milo Center, Penn Yan, NY I would like any releatives to please E Mail me. This family resided in Barrington in 1850. Truman often went by the name James< and somone has him lissted as Joesph. But I do know that on my G,G Grandfather Adelbert's death certificate it lists him as James Bassett! It gets confusing??? Please help. Thank youto Jeffery Bassett who has done extensive research on several Bassett families!!!
