Hi,
I am looking for any information on Elizabeth (I believe Bassett) born about 1733 in either Fairfield, Connecticut or Dutchess, New York. She married Issacher Nickerson about 1753 or 1754 probably in Dutchess, New York. They had the following children, surname Nickerson: Andrew, Bassett, Issacher, Darrius, Uzziel, James, Elizabeth, Hannah, Ruth, Margaret. These children are listed in Issacher's will. The name Bassett as a first and middle name then carries down for numerous generations. Issacher died before December 26, 1803 in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess, New York when his will was probated. Elizabeth survived him. Some of the children remained in Dutchess County, some went to Schoharie County, New York and Ontario, New York and further west from there. Any information would be appreciated.
