We have traced our Bassett back to William Henry Bassett, born 10/24/1796, in Charles City County, VA. He married Eleanor O'Neill in Washington, D.C. on January 22, 1822. She was probably born in Baltimore, MD, and died 10/9/1852, in Louisiana. If this information helps to establish any further link with your data, I would appreciate any help you might have to offer.

I am looking for a connection with William Henry Bassett's father who was born in Charles City County, Va and who died circa 1800 during an epidemic. I would appreciate any information you might be able to send me.
