I think this book is one that she meantioned. Is it about a little boy that gets on a boat and by mistake finds himself on the way to America? If it is I will know I have found a branch of her family. Her name is Doris Bassett Murphy and her father was W.P. Bassett. Her mother's name was Mattie. Thanks for checking!
