I recently found out that I have some Bassets in my family line descending from King Henry I of France. The one's in my line are Ralph Baron Basset, lord of Drayton, Staffordshire, who married Lady margaret de Someri. They had a son named Ralph Basset (died 1265) who married Lady Joan de Grey. The line goes on from there. I only have names and places, but no dates, but would like to know more. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
