On May 7 1754 3 Bassetts were granted land on the Savanah river, Thomas, Natahniel and Thomas Jr.. They were living in Cumberland Co. VA.
It appears Thomas Jr. stayed in GA. and Nathaniel went to live in Goochland Co. Maryland. Thomas Sr. died in VA
Thomas Jr. mar. Lydia Howle Feb 25, 1719 in St. Peter's parish, VA
i Nathaniel b. abt. 1721
ii Thomas b. aby. 1723
iii Louissa b. abt. 1725
iv Frances b. abt 1728
v Mary b. abt 1730
vi Elizabeth b. 1733 (all b VA)
