William Bassett, born 18 April, 1755, Surrey Eng. Listed in Jeff's National Bassett Project as #7B. Father was Michael. Looking for more on parents, siblings, Etc.
Served in Rev War (Martha Washington's 3rd Light Dragoons) Married Margaret "Peggy" McQuiddy in KY. He died at Cross Plains, Ripley, IN, 6 Feb 1840. Family moved to Davis Co, Iowa.
Seeking all related family researchers for effort to publish updated Bassett Family Booklet produced by Frank Bassett in late 1980's.
