Re: Donald Bassett ?-1958 Michigan.
My name is Tallie Teft. I am married and my maiden name is Bassett. The furthest I know back in my family is my dad is Dana Bassett and my grandpa (his father) is Donald Bassett. Donald died in either 1958 or 1959 when Dana was 5. Because of such an early death it is hard to trace back into his history. All that I know about Donald is that he was in the army. He married Sherry Dejong, my grandmother who is from The Nethterlands. He and Sherry had three children, Darlene, Dana, & Marc residing in the state of Michigan.
I believe some of Donald's family history may have come from Canada. I also believe there to be some indian in his family.
