Daniel Bassett and Abagail Bean are my ggggreat grandparents. According to my records Daniel Bassett was born Mar.31,1773. He married Abagail Bean Dec.29,1808. I know of four children that they had:

1.John Bassett-b.Jan.4,1812 d.Apr.23,1891 m.Amelia McCormick
b.Sept.1,1829 d.May21,1894.Son Charles, James F., John T., Thomas E.and Herbert J.Bassett. Also Daughters Mary and Abbie L. Bassett.

2.Joel B. Bassett-b.Mar.14,1817 d.1912 m. Aurelia Carpenter. Son William Bassett.

3.Daniel Bassett-b.1819 d.1899 m.Eliza Jane Canney. Daughter Abbie Susan Bassett b. Sept.22,1849.

4.Phillip Bassett-b.Dec.15,1821
