Jeffrey Bassett, who helps practically everyone posting queries on this board, tells me that William Bassett and Hannah (Dickerman) Ives Bassett had only four children, born in this order: Hannah, John, Smauel and Abiah. If in fact, Hannah died in 1660, then she did not give birth to the other seven....unless, of course she was a witch!!! Just kidding.
William Bassett is my great X 8 grandfather. I descend directly from him and Hannah, so I am very, very curious to hear more about the other seven children which William and Hannah may or may not have had.
Meanwhile, I understand that their (first) four children married as follows: Hannah married John Parker 8 November 1670; John married Mercy Todd (don't know date); Samuel married Mary Dickerman 21 June 1677; Abiah married Ralph Lines 27 April 1681.
