Thurstine Basset, born Abt. 1106 in Colston, Devon or Pembrokeshire, England; died Bef. 1175. He was the son of Ralph BassetI, Justicar of England and Alice de Buci. He married Eustachia M. Abt. 1131 in Colston, Devon or Pembrokeshire, England. She was born Abt. 1111 in Colston, Devon or Pembrokeshire, England.

Thurston Basset, aka Thurstine de Normandie, Chief Falconer and "The Norman" born Abt. 1050 in Pont-d'Ouilly, Calvados, Basse-Normandie, France; died Aft. 1086 in Drayton Basset, Staffordshire, England. He was the son of Fouque de Aulney.
