Thank you for providing Alfed's father, my missing link, though I believed this to be true according to the bible which did not explicitly make that connection. I assumed only direct line ancestors were there.

In my tracing back from Cader Bass to Jamestown era, I arrived at John Bass who married Elizabeth Tucker, a Nansemond Indian, daughter of Robin Tucker King of the Nansemonds. So if that is right, I have a little Native American blood. Their tribe is still active near Norfolk. They appeared here in DC for the opening of the new American Indian Museum. Barry Bass as chief.
