I was looking for the BASS family of Crawford County, Missouri in the late 1800s-early 1900s. I have an ancestor, Reinhard STEPHAN who married Mayme BASS in Crawford County, Missouri in 1898. Shortly after their marriage in 1900, Reinhard and Mayme were living with Mayme's grandparents in Crawford County... Mayme Bass' maternal grandparents were J.P. and Martha BRICKEY.
According to this census, J.P. Brickey was born in Missouri in March of 1838 and Martha was born in Tennessee in April of 1842.
I believe that a few of my relatives in this line may be buried in the Bass-Brickey Cemetery of Crawford County, Steelville, Missouri. Any information on these folks as well as the cemetery would be greatly appreciated! I suspect that the BASS-BRICKEY Cemetery may have another name. Thanks!
