Baskerville Family Genealogy Forum

I took a very long break from genealogy but am doing sporadic searches here or there. While reading this site I realized I never posted information about the additional Baskerville plantation information that I found. As some of you are aware there are two well known plantations Buena Vista and Eureka. It appears that there is at least one additional plantation by the name of River Plantation. This particular property was under the estate of Charles Baskerville. In some estate papers the following slaves were listed: Hersher 30, Nancy 14, Hal 12, Margaret 7, Milly 6, Edy 2;Marshy 35, Peter Dunk 14, Ann 12, Lucy 9, Plummer 6, Rozetta 4; Louisa 30, Jane 14, Austin 12, Ralph 8, Anne 6, Jenny 2, Smith 4; Rebecca 20, Lily 5, Larinda 1; Nancy Cooper 35, George Anderson 8, Armstead 6, Tom 1 1/2; Judy 50, Nancy 8; Betty 25, Harriet 9; Lucinda 30, Sally 8, Nelly 6; Billy Walker 45, Sam Harriss 30, Ben 30, Billy Palmer 30, Claiborne 25, Pleasant 30, Henry 30, Frank 25, Ned 20, Lewis 18, Abraham 18, Tom 12, Peter Goode 13. The last two boys had a notation next to them which read motherless boys
I have an additonal list of slaves that is much longer and would be willing to share it with anyone who is interested.
