My Mother, Caryl Bashore Houck is related to a John Bashore and Carolina Hillbush from Schuylkill Co. PA they had two sons Robert & William. William Bashore is my great grandfather. My mother has often told the story of Jacques Michael LaBasseur a French Huegenot who lived in Bethel PA among the Dunkard. Is there any information that Jacques Michael actually came from France? There is a group of people in Palo Alto CA (my aunt has been in contact with) that claim according to records Jacob came from Germany. Do you know anything about a brother who went to Michigan?
