Richard, I have done extensive research on the Bashaw family. I descend from your Peter Bashaw through his second union to Eve after he split up with Francis Pendleton in the mid 1840's.
I'm very curious how you discovered old Peter Bashaw's birthday. I knew he was born in 1800 in Virginia but did not know the date. You probably already know that he was Peter Bashaw, the fourth. His father was Peter Bashaw the third who died in Bath Co., KY 1835 leaving a will. This Peter Bashaw,III wife was Elizabeth Banks (dau of William Banks who lived in King George Co., VA), sister of Cuthbert Banks of Kentucky fame.
I am also interested in his first set of children....you probably already know he brought three of his sons by Francis to Arkansas before 1850. How do you descend?
