I published a Bashaw History in 1995. However, I have sold all the copies.
Your Peter Bashaw (son of James & Elizabeth Taylor) was in the American Revolution as a young boy. I did have his pension records (they are very informative). His father, James Bashaw, was in the War by tradition, however no records have survived. He died 1778, so perhaps it was during his service. James's brother, my Peter Bashaw, Jr. is said by tradition to have been in the Rev. War also, but again, no record. He died shortly after his brother, James, died.
The Bashaw family is my favorite family.
MaryE
