the stange thing about the Bashaws, is the way these strange names keep popping up. Our Joseph who we are trying to find out where from,,,had kids, Louis, Joseph, Cyrille, Moyses, Nelson J., Derrick, Mary, Emily, Mathilde, Jerome, and John (?0 off the top of my head) 11 in all. anyway, I find these same names over and over. including, Alexander, and Nelson ect. we know of Joseph, Cyrille, Nelson that came here to the U.P. of Mich., Marquette. and the rest are a mystery. they must have stayed in the Eastern states, and had families, and these families used those same names. I sure wish we could all connect. Our Joseph was b. 1784 in
and his wife, Philomene, b. 1794 cira in Canada...where???the burning question...
