Sorry to do this, but let me add another twist to the name - Vashaw.

I have been searching for my line - Vashaw - and have had Vachon and Bashaw as suggestions for further research. I have found Roger Vashaw in Mecosta County, Michigan married to Susan A. Warner in 1886. Per the census, Roger's father was born in Canada. They had at least one child, Louis born in 1888.

This is a very elusive family.
