Lillian, I don't think the Alexander Bashaw that Mike gave you data for is your Alexander. His belongs to the southern Bashaws. I think your Alexander's ancestors came out of Canada. Try Carroll Co. Illinois for his parents. There were a lot of Bashaws in that county early.
