French-Canadian Bashaws

Just to make research go a little farther on the Bashaw name. One branch is French-Canadian and is originally Bachand.
The following is a repeat of my posting concerning the Ashby family.
Searching for descendents of William and Marie married in Quebec about 1765. Most of this family has remained in Quebec, and have become French Canadians.
Would like to contact descendants of these Ashby families. One of the sons of William and Marie Berthiaume left Canada around 1818. Jean-Baptiste Ashby and Catherine Vegiard were in the Savanna IL census of 1850 and with are the following children;
Robert, (wife Scholastique Therrien)
William, (Scholastique Benjamin)
Elizabeth( Pierre Bachand),
Rebecca (Olivier Bachand),
Jean-Baptiste (Apolline Boisseau)
The family name of Bachand is modified to Bashaw.
These folks originally settled in the area of the County of Carrol in Illinois.
