My husband's family were Bartoses (with diacritic over the s--making it "BARTOSH") from the extreme southern reaches of Moravia, near the Slovak border in Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic). They lived in the village of Pitin, near Uherske Hradiste. If anyone is connected to this family, I would like to hear from them!
