Thank you for this reply. Is there anyone in the Barton Society that I might contact for information on the descendants of Fred Barton, s/o Albert L Barton?
Is any of this family active in the Barton Family Society?

Fred was a Lt. during WWII stationed in 1st England and then Belfast Northern Ireland
He flew planes back and forth from Ireland to England and etc. He was killed 1945 in an air colision and 1st buried in Ireland. He was brought to the USA 1947/48 and buried at West View Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, GA.
There is a man from Ireland by the name of Will Lindsay who is searching for the family as he has newspaper articles and other information that he would like to get to his family if possible. Mr. Lindsay says that his family was never told some of the information. I am an amateur genealogist and he picked my name up off the Fulton County Genforum and has been writing me for about a year now. I found this society on Genforum and thought I would give it a try.

Thanks again for your kind and gracious reply. sdholland@mindspring.com
