My grandmother was Altha Harriett Barton, b. Aug 13, 1886 in Williamsburg, Franklin Co, Kansas. She married Ottawa Allen Cordell in Watonga, Blaine Co, OK in Mar. 1904. Altha's parents were Harrison F. Barton, b. Jan 30, 1863 in Des Moines, Iowa, d. Sept 2, 1941 in Weir, Cherokee Co, Kansas. He married Melvina Mitchell on Aug 27, 1883. They had 8 children: Esther, Altha, Earl, Ada, Gertrude, Clara, George, Clyde. All were born in Williamsburg, KS. I found out that George was found dead on the side of the road north of Seneca, Missouri Nov 1942. If anyone has any information on anyone in this family, please contact me.
