The Barton Historical Society is focused on understanding all of the Barton families - and we know we have only begun to find out what there is to learn.
Our main site is at www.bartonsite.org We hold annual meetings to share our learnings, to meet our cousins and fellow researchers and to renew past acquantainces. Our next meeting will be August 27-29 in Austin TX. Our members support our work and receive our Barton Bulletin.
We operate a Database, where we are attempting to collect info on every Barton family. (Please work with Gary to get your information included) www.bartondatabase.info
We sponsor one of the oldest Surname DNA projects in the world, started in 2001. We have over 220 participants and have defined the dna profile of many Barton families. We have a sponsorship program to help untested families. More info at www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/barton
