Hi,
I'm the great granddaughter of Rueben Cook Barton. My grandmother was Jewell Camille Barton born September 8, 1899, in Brownsboro, TX. Her mother Emma Porter became Stephen Rufinis Hatton's (who's mother was alsor related to the Barton line - Temperance Barton)fourth wife on October 12, 1899. I suspect Rueben never saw my grandmother born, although that's just speculation on my part. I do have a photo of Rueben, Emma, Thomas Ervin, and Ozie Walker Barton taken probably about 1894.
My grandmother married Thomas Marvin Sims in Altus, OK, on December 26, 1917.
