I am a descendant of James Murphy b. @ 1720 in Ireland. His daughter, Rachel married Richard Sadler. Is this James Murphy related to Rev. William Murphy?
I am also descended from Bavester Barton whose daughter Mary married Thomas Putman. Is Bavester related to Rev. Isaac Barton?
I would be very interested in hearing from other descendants of these two families. My Murphy information is scant and my Bavester Barton information is not much fuller.
I would also like information on how to join the Barton Family Association. I hope to come to the reunion held in Greer next year.
