I am seeking information on a Barton family. My grandmother was Mary Ruth Barton, who married Isaac Rice Ross,in Mc Nairy County, Tn.,12-31-1873. They later lived in Coffee County, Tn. They eventually moved to north-east Tx. My father, John A. Ross, was born in Kentuckytown, Fannin County, Tx. in 1888.
Mary died in 1929 and Rice in 1943. They were both buried in Lone Oak, Tx.
Around 1945 my uncle William (Will) Ross lived with James (Jim) Barton in Savoy, Tx. I think his wife's name was Sarah Barton.
I have a picture , that has on the back, "Rev. William Barton".
