Payment for services of more than one year by Solomon Forrester, Sgt.: 478.0.0., currency, filed Columbia SC Jan 31 1855, acknowledged; and signed

Curiously: Not with an X, and not with a name in script. but an one inch high T with a backwards 3 attached to the right side bottem of the T.
With the name THOMAS BARTON.
If this is Thomas Barton Forrester, I need to understand the relationship between Wm Barton SR, [same pg 1790] and Solomon Forrester and wife Mary Calloway.Barton Forrester, son of Solomon removed from Spartenburg Co about 1841 to Cass County Georgia where he resides with son and family and dies 1861. No record found of any Thomas Barton Forrester. Help please.
